The 136th Canton Fair is about to begin.

The 136th Canton Fair will be held in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4. On the afternoon of October 10, the reporter learned from the China Foreign Trade Center that this Canton Fair will hold more than 750 trade promotion activities to help exhibitors stabilize orders and expand markets.

Chu Shijia, director of the China Foreign Trade Center, introduced that this Canton Fair offline exhibition will have more than 30,000 exhibitors, including about 29,400 export exhibition enterprises, an increase of nearly 800 over the previous session, and 1.15 million new products will be exhibited on site; in terms of online exhibitions, there are currently about 48,000 companies uploading about 3.75 million exhibits, a record high.

As of October 9, 125,000 overseas buyers from 203 countries and regions have pre-registered, and 223 of the world's top 250 retailers and major merchants from various countries and regions have confirmed their participation in the group. Chu Shijia said that judging from the pre-registration volume of overseas buyers, hotel booking volume and flight booking rate, the number of overseas buyers attending the 136th Canton Fair is expected to be "stable in quantity and improved in quality".

This year's Canton Fair will work with global partners and leading multinational companies to hold more than 250 "Trade Bridge" supply and procurement matching activities in 65 countries and regions; about 400 new product launches will be held during the Canton Fair; the Canton Fair Product Design and Trade Promotion Center will organize 113 design institutions from 12 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition; around trade policies and regulations, trade risk prevention and control, market consumption trends, brand overseas and other themes, this year's Canton Fair will hold more than 40 professional conferences and activities.
